Still On Tour . . . . Mar. 18th, 2004 @ 08:41 pm
Here I am sitting in Atlanta or I call it "hot"-lanta. This time I am near Noonan, GA. So far the tour has been alright. We have played everywhere from a boat dock covered in duck POOP POOP POOP in the rain at a younglife meeting to a absent youth group at a church near knoxville. The LAST place we were at was Gainsville, FL. It was a great place to be this time of the year, not hot or cold. We got to see UF's campus, which is beautiful. Lots of people running though, everywhere. A girl I met who worked for the church we played at said she actually had a jogging class. I dont really get it, but she did and that's all that mattered. The church we played at was huge, like 2 000 people. The college class that we played for at the church was very receptive to our music. The concert itself was great because we all looked like we were actually having fun and not concentrating our playing.

We have two days left of the tour before break is over. School starts on Monday and I didnt really get a break from school so I will be looking forward to the weekend more than ever. The next two days the concerts will be in Atlanta and in Chatanooga, TN. okay I'm done.

This is cool . . . Mar. 14th, 2004 @ 12:08 am

I'm the King of New York !!! Mar. 13th, 2004 @ 11:59 pm
I am here sitting in a stranger's house, in a city I have never been in, and watching a movie I have haven't watched in over a decade with people I have known for almost three years. How could this be ?

Well, I'll tell ya . . .

I am on tour with my band. The house I am in is located in Atlanta (I think) and is a the sister of our lead singer. The movie is Newsies and I can't stop singing "I'm the King of New York" and calling newspapers "Pape's".

Anyways if anyone remembers the movie with the corny songs and dancing, write about it.

How is everyone's spring break going? let me know.

hello Feb. 3rd, 2004 @ 11:52 pm
This is an update on my life. I am now 21 and can drink legally. Like it didnt stop me before !! Naw, I probably will just buy something to get carded and make me feel special then throw it away or something.

I am very proud of myself. Not only am I keeping up the grades but now I am keeping up with myself. I have begun to work out again, but this time it is different because I actually run before I work out. I had to stop running because of shin splints and now I can run on the eliptical machines we have in the school weight room. I knew that 20,000 I pay for school went to something . . .

BIrthday Jan. 12th, 2004 @ 12:41 am
Tommorrow is MONDAY !!! Yeah, I know. I am not supposed to be that excited about Mondays. Usually I am suicidal about Mondays, but tommorrow is a special Monday. Monday is my birthday. I still have classes and other random duties, but at least I can say something everyone wants to. I can say that today I have the upperhand. Today I am the special one. Today YOU have to do what I say. You know why?
Because 20+ years ago today I was born. I was pushed out of a small hole and shoved into a big world I still do not understand. Screaming, crying, yelling, and red as could be. I was born into a world that is so unwelcoming and beautiful at the same time. It was just yesterday that I was a small child and I am sure in a tiny amount of time I will look back at the old college days. So, Happy Birthday to me. Happy Birthday to me . . .

Some people like to think about stuff on the toilet, while others like to think about stuff in bed. Others still think about things laying on the ground in a field with the sun on their back. Me, I choose to think about stuff in the shower. I have solved many of lifes tricky questions in the shower.

I have much fun this New Years. Went to see the space needle in Gatlinburg, TN light up with thousands of fireworks and thousands, on thousands of people. I went with my girlfriend, sister, and her boyfriend to watch the "ball" drop from the space needle and so did many many other people. I heard something like 22,ooo people were there. We had planned on eating at Outback, but when we found out it was a 2 and a half hour wait . . . we kept walking. We kept walking to La Carreta, a mexican restraunt, in downtown Gatlinburg and other places. The cool thing was we left Outback with a 2 and half-hour wait and walked into La Carreta, asked for a table for 4 and even had a choice between smoking and non-smoking. I love La Carreta. Then on the way out waiting in line to pay, we saw this guy who was rocking the 80's michael jackson/a.c. slater mullet with a purple windbreaker pants and jacket that had the radiostation 102.1 all over it. The best thing was he took his jacket off and he had a long-sleeve shirt that was 102.1 all over it. We had to laugh at him. Then we laughed even more when he ended up being the DJ for the ball dropping ceremony. All in all, I had a good time and I dranks lots of coffee.
